The Consumer Product Safety Commission, along with Customs and Border Protection, do a pretty admirable job of barring possibly dangerous items from entering the United States.  They have just announced the results of their efforts for 2012.  More than two million toys were prevented from coming into the country thanks to the work of those agencies.  This helped ensure that hordes of children across the country were protected from toys that present hazards.
